Greetings,

I am very proud to announce the release of my newest community tool. Those of you who follow my posts on Twitter knew this tool was being released. I post more frequently to my twitter account about projects I’m working on currently.

GUI Persistence Cleaner WEB BASED!

http://guifix.clanfall.com

The GUI Persistence Cleaner is a tool I’ve created to help reduce the amount of unused information inside of the Darkfall “gui_persistence.xml” file. By cleaning out the unused information inside of this file, it will help increase overall game performance. It has been known to fix the following infamous game bugs; (GUI Bug, Black Screen, Bag Bug, Bank Lag ).

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…

1.) Click upload and select your gui_persistence.XML file
2.) Wait while the web page, generates and corrects your file.
3.) Save the newly created file over your original .XML file.

Detailed Instructions are on the website for those who need a bit more guidance. http://guifix.clanfall.com

Note: I’ve tested this tool with several XML files and should have all the bugs corrected. If you encounter a bug while using this tool, send a copy of your gui_persistence.xml file to support@clanfall.com. I will then review your XML file and adjust the script to resolve the issue.

Greetings,

Over this last week I decided to (design / draw / code) a new and easier to use Enchantment Calculator. I’ve spent a combined total of about 40 Hours creating this for the community. It’s very simple to use, but I’ve put together a small tutorial.

Darkfall Online Enchantment Calculator

Enchantment Calculator : http://clanfall.com

How to use

Method 1:
Browse for the enchantment you are looking to craft. After selecting the desired enchant, the components will be highlighted. See ( Figure: 1a )

Method 2:
Select all the components you have available to craft an enchant. You do this be pressing the + symbol next to each component. It will then become highlighted and switch to a X symbol. Clicking on this again will unselect the previously selected component. See ( Figure: 2a)

Method 3:
After you have generated a few craft-able enchants from Method 2, you can now select them from the right hand column. Doing this will highlight the required components needed to craft the specific enchant.
See ( Figure: 3a )

That should give you a good understanding on how to use this Enchantment Calculator. I feel that it’s easy enough to understand without this brief tutorial, but figured I would write it anyways.

This is version 1.0, if you find any bugs please let me know. Also, I’m currently working on other Darkfall Tools. Information about these will be announced at a future date and time.
